Alan D. Broering, DC, CCSP®
My name is Dr. Alan Broering. I graduated from National University of Health Sciences in December of 2011 with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Prior to that, I attended The Ohio State University and received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a focus in Biochemistry in 2008. I am a member of the American Chiropractic Association, and the Illinois Chiropractic Association. I became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®) specializing in sports injuries after passing the board examination in 2017.
I perform a large variety of chiropractic techniques including diversified, Thompson drop, flexion distraction, atlas orthogonal, activator, and extremity adjusting. I am well-versed in many soft tissue techniques, and other modalities.
I perform sports rehabilitation with focus on functional rehabilitation and I have completed parts A and B of the McKenzie Method. Nutritional counseling and education is another area that I enjoy providing to patients. It is hard to have a healthy body on the outside if it is broken on the inside via the gut. Check out my blog for more information on my gluten free and sugar free experience!
I spend a lot of my free time with my family and friends. I also stay active by playing ultimate frisbee, running, and golfing when there's time.
