Elda is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Health Consultant, Certified Reflexologist, Yoga Instructor, Certified Energy Worker and is Certified in Clinical Myofascial Release.
She started off studying nutrition, vitamin therapy, herbology, aroma therapy, and other areas before switching to bodywork in the late seventies and eighties.
Elda graduated from various colleges and schools in Europe, South Africa, and the United States of America. She continues studying and learning various techniques such as Lymphedema Therapy and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation from Klose Training.
In the spring of 2013, she became certified in Oncology Massage at Cortiva College. She has been practicing Reflexology and Energy Healing in different countries over the years, and has learned that the feet can tell a lot about a person and how the rest of their body functions.
She has completed 3 levels of training in Kinesiotaping Therapy administered by the Spine Solvers. And is a Certified Yoga Instructor assisting patients with MS and neurological disorders performing simple yoga routines.
She teaches many modalities of healing and cleansing work. Elda recently recieved her myofascial release clinical certification in soft tissue mobilization for rapid functional outcomes.
What Elda enjoys most is interacting with friends, family, and people in general. She became interested in what she does as a child. When she was young, she experienced holistic care from her grandmother, who was an generational herbalist most of her life, and her mother who was a member of the Red Cross and later on a holistic nurse.
Elda had allergic reactions to all allopathic medicines and only natural remedies would help her as she was growing up. She has been performing reflexology since she was a kid, working on her mother’s feet for her monthly allowance. She loved holistic care as a child and enjoys providing this care to the patients at Menner Chiropractic.
